Beat. Patisserie is a small, independent, woman run pastry shop. We are dedicated to striving for the best. We take pride in always using high quality ingredients, and using local produce when we can. When you stop by, you will see all the love and passion.

Hi! I'm Mackenzie - the pastry chef behind Beat. Patisserie. I wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself and the story behind Beat. I grew up around my parent's catering and food shop, from a young age I knew I wanted to follow in their foot steps. I started working in bakeries when I was 15 and throughout high school. After high school I enrolled in the Pastry Arts program at George Brown College. In school we had to create a business plan for a project and the dream for Beat. has been with me ever since. In my time at George Brown College, I had the opportunity to learn from many mazing chefs! I participated in a semester abroad at Domaine Les Crayeres a Michelin star in Reims, France. This is where my love of French pastries came from. When I returned to Canada, I had many other learning opportunities and mentors that have shaped my baking, but I have always dreamed of having my own place.

Weddings

BEAT. Patisserie is here to make your wedding dreams come true. We specialize in buttercream cakes. We will customize each cake design to match your wedding aesthetic.
Cake tastings are available for $50.00 per person, and offers 4 different flavours per session.  Gluten free cake and tastings are available for an additional charge.
Cake tastings are pre-booked outside of our regular business hours.
